Guide step %d Fill both bottles with water to the top of the label.
Guide step %d Shake both bottles well to dissolve the powder.
Guide step %d The mixture is ready to use after 24 hours.
Guide step %d The bottles contain liquid for approx. 200 prints. The liquid will hold in the bottle for up to 2 years.
Guide step %d Combine the two liquids in a bowl 1:1.
Guide step %d Once the liquids are mixed, they can be used for 2-4 hours. Store in a dark place.
Guide step %d Three pipettes of each type of liquid is enough for 4-6 prints.
Guide step %d Wear plastic gloves when working with the cyanoprint liquid. Use a foam brush to brush the fabric with the mix.
Guide step %d Place the manila tags on an absorbent surface or with plastic underneath.
Guide step %d Apply the cyanoprint liquid without creating too straight edges or too large areas. Thicker layers result in a darker colour. The area with the cyanoprint liquid will turn a greenish colour. Wear gloves when working and avoid sunlight.
Guide step %d Dry the cyanoprint liquid tags in a dark place for at least 30 minutes until completely dry.
Guide step %d While the tags are drying, prepare the print. Remove the protective plastic from both sides of the plastic sheet.
Guide step %d Feel free to use spruce, buckthorn leaves or other Christmas greenery together with ice crystal sequins. Tape the designs onto the plastic sheet so that they line up with the tags with the cyanoprint liquid.
Guide step %d Place the dry manila tags on the backing sheet and turn the plastic sheet with the design down towards the fabric. Attach with clips to press the design completely flat against the paper – this results in a clearer print.
Guide step %d Place in sunlight for 3-30 minutes on a sunny day. On a cloudy day, leave for 4-5 hours. The cyanoprint liquid will change colour and turn greyish after being exposed to enough sunlight.
Guide step %d Remove the clips and separate the sheets from the design.
Guide step %d Rinse off the excess cyanoprint liquid in clean water. Gently rub to remove completely. Rinse several times with water until the water is clear.
Guide step %d Gently pat off the excess water and allow to dry flat. Tip: For best results, leave under pressure overnight.
Guide step %d Use a silver marker to draw details such as snowflakes, dots or even a frame around the design.
Guide step %d Add silver-plated wire and they’re ready to be used as decoration on a branch or as gift tags.
