Crocheted Bag with Rose

Crochet a small bag for your mobile phone or lip gloss and then make a pretty rose to decorate it with. You can also attach the bag handle to the rose and wear it around your waist, on your wrist or as a cool choker.

How to do it
1 Use the PDF instructions at the bottom of this page and start with the row of crocheted rose petals.
2 Crochet a total of 17 rose petals.
3 Roll up the strip of rose petals and sew together in the grid at the bottom.
4 Pull the finished rose into shape and sew it onto a brooch pin.
5 Pull the cord through the brooch pin if you want to tie the rose around your neck or waist.
6 You can crochet the rose in any colour.
7 Start the bag by crocheting a row of chain stitches around it.
8 Finish by crocheting chain stitches on both sides where the handle can be attached.
9 Make the handle to the desired length and attach it to the bag with a knot.
