Natural Eggs dyed with Onion Skins

Each of the natural eggs are wrapped in the two outer layers of an onion. Then they are wrapped in aluminum foil, shiny side inside, and boiled, dying the eggs.

1.   Peel the onion and remove the two outer layers.

2.   Wrap the egg in the two layers of onion skin and wrap it in aluminium foil with the shiny side inside.

3.   Boil the egg at medium heat for 30 minutes. Place a plate over the egg so that it remains in the water during cooking. Then carefully unwrap the egg and let it dry with the hole facing down, to drain the remaining water.
