Coaster created with kintsugi technique

#v17051

Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese technique for repairing broken porcelain. Instead of trying to hide the damage, you highlight it – celebrating the beauty of the imperfect. We have simplified this method slightly. The pieces are pieced together with glue and decorated with a gold-coloured marker.
