How to do it
Open the ball/heart and add 2–3 drops of transparent paint in different colours in one half.
Add a wooden bead to the paint and close the ball/heart again.
Wrap masking tape around the ball/heart to seal tightly.
Roll the bead around in the paint so that the paint is mixed in patterns and distributed all over the inside.
Remove the tape, open the ball/heart and let the paint dry. Remove the wooden bead while the paint is wet.
Reassemble the two dried parts.
Pull the organza ribbon and satin string through the hole for hanging.
This idea is suitable for very young children as they can control the technique themselves without being smeared in paint when the ball/heart is sealed.
