Make pom-poms by winding the XL chunky yarn 10 times around the pom-pom tool. Tie a piece of sock wool tightly around the middle of the wound bundle of wool and cut the yarn open on both sides. Trim the pom-pom into shape – you may refer to the step-by-step instructions on the packaging.

Attach the hook for hanging made from chain stitches onto the top edge by stitching the yarn ends along the edge of the stocking with your fingers. Tie the pom-poms onto the bottom of the hook with a piece of string made from two pieces of sock wool (twist them around themselves and double them over, creating a 4-ply piece of yarn.
