How to do it

1
Cast on twelve stitches. Knit using plain stitches. Decrease by a stitch on each side on every fifth row. Do this three times and then knit six rows. Then knit 1 plain*, YO (yarn over), K1 (knit 1)*. Repeat from * to * = eleven stitches. Knit ten rows after decreasing. On the next row decrease by one stitch, knit three stitches. Cast off one stitch and put the last four stitches onto the left knitting needle. Knit the ears separately like this: Ten rows of plain knitting. On the next row decrease by one stitch on each side. Cast off the remaining stitch.

2
To make a string for hanging, chrochet 40 chain stitches and sew this onto the rabbit. Sew eyes, a mouth and a nose. Now felt the finished rabbit in the washing machine at 60°. Then pull the rabbit into shape whilst still wet.
