Poncho: Cast on 30 stitches very loosely. From here knit according to the pattern all the way around. 1st row: plain stitches 2nd row: 2 plain stitches, *2 plain stitches together, yarn over*. Repeat from * to * until you have 2 stitches left. Knit these as plain stitches. 3rd row: plain stitches. 4th row: 2 plain stitches, *yarn over, 2 plain stitches together*. Repeat from * to * until you have 2 stitches left. Knit these as plain stitches. Repeat these four rows until the knitted piece measures 65cm. Then knit one row plain stitches. Cast off very loosely on the next row. Knit another piece like this. Sew the two pieces together; sew one of the short ends onto one half of the other piece’s long side. The other short end of this piece is then sewn onto one half of the first piece.
Pick up 52 stitches around the neck with the Circular Knitting Needle and knit ribbed knitting (2 plain stitches, 2 purl) until the roll neck measures 35cm. Cast off loosely and secure all the ends.
