Paint a paper plate with A-Color acrylic paint.

Make dots with a foam stencil brush and allow to dry.

Draw the numbers with a marker (write the numbers 12, 3, 6 and 9 first and then the other numbers). Allow to dry.

Draw the hands on black card and cut them out.

Push a hole through the middle of the plate using an awl. Also use an awl for making holes in both card hands.

Make a coil from a pipe cleaner and push it through the holes on the card hands and the paper plate.

Also make a coil on the other end of the pipe cleaner on the back of the paper plate to secure the hands.

A Tip
This activity can be used as a class activity at school or in kindergarten or after-school clubs.
Each child can make its own card clock and the teacher could have a large clock on the blackboard.
This process teaches the children how to mix colours, numbers, divide a circle and obviously how to tell the time.
