A card and fabric Christmas house decorated with glitter for hanging

Remove the card template from the sheet and fold along all the score lines.

Apply decoupage lacquer onto the front of the card house using a brush.

Place the fabric with the front face down, apply decoupage lacquer on the back of the fabric all the way to the edges with a brush and place the card house on top. Smooth out with your hands and leave to dry.

Trim all the edges of the fabric to fit the house template with scissors. You may draw a 2 x 2 cm window as shown in the photo.

Cut out the window with an art knife and a metal ruler. Cut open the two slots for assembling the house.

Fold along all the score lines using a bone folder.

Cut a small hole in the tab which is used for closing the roof. Push a piece of string tied with a triple knot through the hole as shown in the photo.

Cut iron-on foil to fit the roof and iron it on, following the instructions on the packaging.

Assemble the house and apply glue along the edges. Assemble the house into a cube, then assemble the roof and finally the bottom. Use a brush handle for pushing the gable end in place.
