A trendy and fun necklace with a distressed look. The buttons and wooden beads have been painted with Plus Color Craft Paint and sanded lightly with sandpaper. They are then threaded onto a lightly waxed soft cotton cord.

How to do it
1. Paint wooden beads and buttons with Plus Color Craft Paint.
2. When the paint has dried completely, sand lightly.
3. Thread the beads onto a lightly waxed soft cotton cord.
4. Thread the buttons onto the cord alternately on each side. Then pull hard so that they look like they are tiled.
5. Tie two or three knots between the beads and buttons behind the last button.
