An Icon with a patinated Ornament

The beautiful icon wood plate is decorated with a 3D MDF ornament and patinated with Plus Color black and Art metal silver to achieve an antique silver look using a brush and a sponge.

How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1 Paint the icon wood plate with Plus Color black.
2 Dab Art Metal silver on the side of the icon using a face painting sponge.
3 Varnish the icon with black varnish.
4 Paint the ornament with Plus Color black.
5 With a sponge, dab/rub on Art Metal silver. Only use a small amount of ink at a time.
6 Glue the ornaments onto the icon wood plate using a glue gun.
