How to do it

1. Print and cut out the template, available as a separate pdf file for this idea . NB: A seam allowance is included. Double over the fabric and cut out the snake's head. Cut the fabric part for the inside of the snake's mouth, also from doubled-over fabric. The actual mouth opening is from the dotted line.

2. Sew the head together with the snake's inside mouth, outer side against outer side from the dotted line on one side to the dotted line on the opposite side.

7. Cut out the snake's joints from seven A4 size pieces of fabric. Cut out the snake's tail parts from the template (2 x 2 pieces).

8. Sew the 2 x 2 tail pieces together, outer side against outer side and turn inside out. NB: iron the seams as you go along.

11. Fill the snake with polyester wadding as you go along. Do not use too much or else the snake will not be soft.
