A Skirt from Imitation Fabric decorated with Rhinestones

A skirt made from a long piece of imitation fabric. Fold the fabric at the top to make a casing and secure with double-sided tape. A piece of elastic cord is threaded through the casing and stapled together. Decorated with self-adhesive rhinestones.

How to do it
1 Measure the waist of the person for whom the skirt is for. Multiply by two to get the length of the imitation fabric and cut.
2 Cut a piece of elastic cord. Calculate the length by deducting 3 cm from the waist measurement.
3 Casing: Spread out the piece of fabric and attach double-sided tape lengthwise approx. 8 cm from the edge at the top. Fold this edge down and secure to the adhesive.
4 Attach a safety pin to the elastic cord and thread it through the casing. A TIP: Use a pin for keeping the elastic cord in place on the opposite end whilst working.
5 Secure both ends of the elastic cord in the casing by stapling them together with a stapler.
6 Decorate the skirt with self-adhesive rhinestones.
