A Shopping Bag decorated with knitted Tube Roses

Knit approx. 50 cm knitted tube using a knitting mill and baby merino wool for the small rose. Knit approx. 100 cm knitted tube for the large rose.

Double over the knitted tube in the middle and tie a knot. Twist the ends and pick up the eight stitches as shown in the picture.

Sew the ends together and secure. Trim the excess wool.

Sew the flower together using the same wool as the one used for the knitted tube.

Knit approx. 25 cm knitted tube for two leaves for the small rose using the knitting mill. Pick up the stitches at both ends and sew together as shown in the picture. Do not trim the excess wool yet.

Double over and sew together in the middle for leaves using the wool which is already attached to the knitted tube.

Sew to form the points of the leaves with 3-4 stitches and secure the ends.

Knit approx. 50 cm knitted tube for four leaves for the large rose. Shape the four leaves as shown in the picture and secure in the middle. Sew the points as described in the step above.

Sew the leaves onto the back of the roses and sew the finished roses onto the front of the shopping bag.
