A Shopping Bag decorated with Knitted Tube Flowers

1   Knit 3 x 50 cm knitted tube on a knitting mill. You will need approx. 40 cm of knitted tube for one flower measuring 6 cm in diameter. You may use different colour wool for each flower.

2   Pick up the four stitches at one end of the knitted tube with a yarn needle and secure.

3   Fold the petals as illustrated in this photo and sew them together using a new piece of the same wool used for the knitted tube.

4   Trim the excess knitted tube and secure the ends.

5   Knit approx. 6 cm knitted tube for a flower bud. Secure one end and sew the knitted tube together into a circle. Finish by securing the other end of the knitted tube inside the flower bud.

6   Sew the flower bud onto the flower with a yarn needle.

7   Sew the finished flowers onto the shopping bag.
