A star made from glittery and glossy paper star stips: Place and weave the strips on the table as shown. NB: Cut the ends off slightly diagonally.

Weave the star following the instructions printed on the back of the packaging. However, only up to and including step 12.

Fold down the paper strip at the top right, creating a diagonally divided area in the small square.

Fold the strip up, along the edge of the small square, so that this strip now points upwards.

Fold the same paper strip towards the left, once again creating a diagonally divided area in the small square.

Fold the strip so that it's flush with the edge of the small square and place it to the right. NB: Press as you go along to make the creases sharp.

Fold down the paper strip once again creating a diagonally divided area in the small square.

Fold the strip up, along the edge of the small square, so that this strip now points upwards.

Fold diagonally to the left as shown.

Fold the strip from the edge to the right. Now turn the star 1/4 turn clockwise.

Now follow steps 3-11. Always using the paper strip which is placed at the top right.

Push all the folds flat. Turn the star over onto the opposite side and repeat the process.

From two diagonally placed squares, push the two sets each consisting of three folds down in opposite directions. Feed the paper strip at the bottom right (same side up) through the opening in the square at the top left.

Turn the star 180° clockwise. Hold on to the set of the three folds and pull the strip all the way through. The folds now stand upright. Continue like this with the other three squares.

This is how it looks when all four sets of folds are finished. Repeat on the opposite side.

Trim all ends approx. 1 cm from each star tip and parallel to each star tip.
18.
Attach a split ring between two star points using split ring pliers.
19.
Hanging: Tie a 1 mm leather cord onto the split ring.
