A mounted Decoupaged Egg with a Gold Crown

This two-piece plastic egg is decorated with decoupage paper, as is the napkin ring which serves as a stand for the egg. A decorative gold painted polyresin crown is attached to the top of the egg with glue.

How to do it
1. Make one half of the egg at a time. Apply a coat of adhesive lacquer onto the egg and attach the decoupage paper. Apply another coat of adhesive lacquer on top.
2. Leave the decoupaged two-piece egg to dry.
3. Apply a coat of adhesive lacquer onto the napkin ring and attach the decoupage paper. Apply another coat of adhesive lacquer on top.
4. Paint the crown with gold Art Metal paint and leave to dry.
5. Attach the crown onto the top half of the egg. Use a glue gun.
