A Leather Bracelet with Stone Beads on a Fishing Line Nylon Cord
#v13218
This bracelet is made using a braiding technique where beads are threaded onto a piece of fishing line nylon cord and tied around a piece of leather cord. A bead is attached at the end as a fastener for opening and closing the bracelet.
#v13218
How to do it

1. Cut a 80cm long piece of leather cord and double it over. Cut a 110cm long piece of fishing line nylon cord and tie it tightly around one end of the doubled-over leather cord, making a loop. There are now two equal length ends of fishing line nylon cord on either side of the doubled-over leather cord. The loop on the leather cord is to be used as the fastener (opening and closing the bracelet).

2. Now pass each end of the fishing line nylon cord underneath each side of the leather cord. Thread each end of the fishing line nylon cord through the hole of a bead from opposite ends. Now pass the fishing line nylon cord over the leather cords ...

3. ... and underneath the leather cords. Tighten – and continue the described process until the bracelet has reached the desired length.
