A hanging Decoration with Faux Leather Paper Snowflakes

These faux leather paper snowflakes are sewn together on strings on the sewing machine. Each string is tied around a stick.

How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1 Start by pulling the two threads (the machine thread and the bobbin thread) to the back of the sewing maching to ensure there is enough thread for hanging. Now place the first snowflake under the pressure foot and sew down through the middle of the snowflake.
2 Continue sewing without anything under the pressure foot to make a gap between the next snowflake. Place another snowflake under the pressure foot and sew down through the middle of the snowflake.
3 Continue like this until a suitable length is reached. Cut off the threads leaving a gap from the last snowflake.
4 Tie a double knot at each end to secure the threads.
5 Sew four strings and tie them around the stick.
6 Tie a leather cord through the loops at each end of the stick for hanging.
