A Hair Band decorated with a Fabric Knot

This hair band is decorated with fabric which is sewn together around the hair band as well as a tied fabric knot in the middle.

How to do it
1 Cut a 7 x 50 cm piece of fabric.
2 Attach a piece of double-sided tape onto the inside of the hair band at both ends. Attach the fabric as illustrated in the photo.
3 Fold the fabric doubled-over towards the middle on the inside of the hair band and sew it together. Make the seam tight at the beginning and looser as you go along to give the fabric volume and a wrinkled effect.
4 Before reaching the middle of the hair band, tie a knot around the hair band with the fabric. Sew the fabric together on the inside of the hair band until you get to the knot, covering the hair band.
5 Sew the fabric together around the hair band in the same fashion at the opposite side of the knot.
