A Greeting Card with a Tissue Paper Cut-Out

This greeting card is decorated with a cut-out background made from pastel coloured tissue paper. A black text printed onto white paper is cut out with precision scissors, making a scalloped edge. This is glued onto the card on top of the tissue paper.

How to do it
1. Cut a piece of tissue paper slightly smaller than the greeting card format. Fold the tissue paper in half at least twice and cut a pattern of holes with precision scissors using your imagination.
2. Carefully glue the tissue paper with the pattern of holes onto the front of the greeting card. Smooth out.
3. Print a text or a verse - black on white paper. Trim the edge with a precision scissors for making scalloped edges and glue this onto the attached tissue paper.
