A Fifties Bird Hanging Decoration

These simple birds are cut using a template and stuck together using double-sided adhesive tape around a string or a ribbon with wings made from cake napkins.

How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1. Draw the pattern using the template and cut out.
2. Attach double-sided adhesive to the back. Cut a 40cm long piece of ribbon (and a 6cm long piece of heart ribbon as well). Stick the bird parts together around the ribbon(s).
3. Cut a cake napkin in two and fold one half into pleats.
4. Fix the bird breast over the body using double-sided adhesive tape. Repeat on the back.
