A Felt Basket

1   Draw up the basket with a disappearing pen. The measurement in this example is 32 x 32cm. Draw a 6cm long line, 6cm from the edge, in each corner.

2   Cut the felt with a large pair of fabric scissors or a rotary cutter. Cut a groove 5cm from the edge. Cut off this small 1cm incision.

3   You may paint wooden buttons with Plus Color.

4   Cut a groove in the middle of each flap and sew the button on the opposite flap. Only sew halfway through the felt, so the thread does not become visible on the inside of the basket.

5   The basket looks like this before assembly.
