A die-cut Mobile, with embossed and printed Birds

This mobile consists of birds and leaves, which are die-cut, embossed and printed in one process using the Fiskars Fuse Creativity System. A hole is made at the top of each shape and they are attached one after another on a long piece of natural hemp.
Creative idea
How to do it

1.
Die-cutting with embossing in metallic foil card: Place the copper-colored metallic foil on top of the printing plate inside the die.

2.
Make a sandwich by placing the cutting plate on top of the die and the printing plate. Place the sandwich in front of the roller of the Fiskars Fuse Creativity die-cutting machine.

3.
Run the assembled “sandwich” through the Fiskars die-cutting machine. Use the handle.

4.
Remove the cutting plate.

5.
Place the cutting plate in the orange box for easy removal of the finished die-cut shape.

Die-cutting of and printing on cork: Place the die inside the orange box and carefully apply some ink on the die.

7.
Remove the die from the orange box.

8.
Place a piece of cork on top of the die and the cutting plate on top. Now run the assembled “sandwich” through the roller on the die-cutting machine. Use the handle.

9.
Make a hole at the top of the finished shapes for hanging. Use an eyelet setter from Fiskars.

10.
Assemble the birds and leaves into a mobile by attaching a piece of natural hemp through the holes at the top.
