How to do it

2. Thread beads onto the three pieces of cord; approx. 12 faceted glass beads onto the middle cord and approx. 13 resin beads onto the cords at either side. Assemble the ends at the bottom of the macramé board with a metal clip.

3. Cut two approx. 150cm pieces of polyester cord. Arrange these so that the middle is underneath the three cords with the beads. Start braiding. NB: see idea No. 12499 on our website for instructions.

5. Secure two of the four braiding cords in the clip at the top of the macramé board. Use the remaining two braiding cords and make a braiding knot on the middle cord.

6. Push up the bead on the far left and make a braiding knot around this cord, using the two braiding cords on the left hand side. Repeat this process on the right hand side.

7. Push up the glass bead on the middle cord and make a double braiding knot with the bottom two of the four braiding cords.

8. Repeat the process shown until all beads are in place – or until the bracelet is the desired length. Now finish with three or four double braiding knots.
