How to do it

1. Cut a piece of rhinestone jewellery chain measuring approx. 17cm and a 70cm piece of cotton cord. Tie the latter at the top between the two first rhinestones on the jewellery chain, making sure that there are two equal length ends on either side of the jewellery chain in the middle. Glue into an end cap and let it dry.

2. Attach the end cap with the jewellery chain and the doubled over cord middle onto a clip board. Use masking tape and attach a rubber underneath the end of the jewellery chain as shown. This is in order to attach the jewellery chain with pins as it has to be suspended slightly above the clip board during the braiding process.

3. Then cross braid the two lengths of cotton cord over and under the jewellery chain till the end of the cords is reached. Finish by tying between the two last rhinestones.
